Swimming
District Girls Division I February 15-16, 2008
In Swimming in all individual events, each of the Sectional Tournaments
will qualify three automatic qualifiers in each event. In
addition there will be individuals qualifying at-large from the
combined Sectionals. There will be 25 at-large qualifiers in
Girls Division I individual events for a total field of 40
contestants. NEW THIS YEAR - If an automatic qualifier in individual events
should replace a faster swimmer from another sectional, both the automatic
qualifier and the replaced swimmer shall advance to the Districts.
In Swimming, in all relay events, each of the Sectional Tournaments
will qualify two automatic qualifiers in each event. In addition
there will be relay teams qualifying at-large from the combined
Sectionals. There will be 10 relay teams qualifying at large in
each Girls event, in Division I for a total field of 20 entries.
Girls Division I State Qualifiers: Nine divers and five
individuals/relays in each swimming event plus eleven at-large
individuals/relays in each swimming event from all statewide District
Tournaments to the State Tournament at Branin Natatorium, Canton.
Diving

February 7 @ Solon.

Diving
Due to the anticipated smaller number of entries, there will be no
Girls Division II diving in the Sectional Tournaments. In the
Girls Division II all diving competition will be conducted at the
District Tournament.
